My Art retreat is designed to spark your creativity while exploring the beautiful island of Zakynthos (“Zante”).
I, Liza Collaros, will be your host. I have lived in Zakynthos for over 24 years and look forward to sharing experiences,
meeting new friends, and working together to learn fresh techniques in a truly magical setting.

In this retreat, you’ll spend one week in Zante focusing on a variety of styles, techniques, mediums and subject matter.
You will enjoy a serene private villa estate hidden amongst the olive groves in the famous Laganas resort.

We’ll tour the island, and our week together will consist of various field trips, inspired by surrounding architecture, scenery and landscapes.
No two days will be the same, we will be immersed in painting, drawing and photography.
I will help you take an in-depth look in your toolbox for capturing the essence of your impressions of what you see all around you.
Quick, loose sketch, five-minute blind contour drawings or mixing a colour palette of your surroundings,
finding different ways of expressive mark making and guiding you on how to paint on the move.
We will use a variety of materials such as markers, brush pens, charcoal, pastels, paints, collage, pencils,
and colour sticks to create powerful expressive sketches and paintings.

I will encourage you in stillness and mindfulness, so you are able to capture the scene in front of you,
as literally or as abstract as your interpretation is, there is no right or wrong.

This time together is all about finding your hidden talent and developing a new passion for painting and meeting others who love art, just like you.

(Retreat limited to 14 people – with a minimum of 3 people for retreat to take place otherwise it will be cancelled)
Price includes all meals, beverages, lodging, art supplies, activities, instruction & tranfers.
It does not include tipping of co-host, villa staff and cleaning staff, guides, drivers and waiters.
